On Monday in the Town of Ulster, a motorcyclist and his passenger were
injured after being struck by a car.
According to state police, Eric Palmer, 47. of Saugerties and his passenger
Nicole Daley, 43, address unavailable, were traveling northbound on U.S.
Route 9W in Ulster when they were struck by a car driven by Rachel Bednarz,
24, of Tanglewood Road in West Hurley.
Palmer and Daley were taken to HealthAlliance Hospital's Broadway Campus
in Kingston were they were treated for their injuries.
Bednarz and her passenger were uninjured and Bednarz was ticketed for failure
to yield the right of way.
