On Wednesday afternoon in the Town of Ulster, a head-on collision on state
Route 28 left two men injured.
According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred
at about 1:25 p.m. near Wiedy's Furniture.
After investigation it was reported that a 2008 Subaru Legacy, driven by
Brian Henderson, if Hurley, was traveling east on 28 when he drifted over
the center pavement markings into oncoming traffic and collided head-on
with a westbound 2010 Subaru Forrester, driven by Fred Tuman. of Sea Cliff.
Tuman was taken to the HealthAlliance Hospital's Broadway Campus in
Kingston to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Henderson, who
suffered minor injuries, declined transportation to the hospital.
