On Sunday in Mamakating, N.Y., a 24-year-old man was killed when he drove
his car the wrong way on Route 17 and crashed into another vehicle, injuring
the other driver.
According to police, Nicholas Kay, of Montgomery, was traveling east in
a westbound lane near Exit 113 at the time of the accident. His Hyundai
Sonata crashed into a Volkswagen driven by a 24-year-old Vestal man.
The time of the accident and the other victim's name have not been provided.
The Vestal man was flown to Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey with
Mainetti, Mainetti & O'Connor would like to express our deepest
sympathies to the friends and family of this horrific accident.
