5 Die in Blue Ridge Summit Motorcyle-SUV Collision

In Blue Ridge Summit, PA, Saturday afternoon, a horrific crash claims the lives of five people.
The driver of a 2006 Toyota SUV northbound near 13775 Fort Richie Access Road when the vehicle drifted into oncoming southbound traffic. It then crashed into a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle killing the operator, Douglas M. Hoffer Jr., 32, of Quarryville, PA and his passenger, Colleen E. Nesbitt, 27, of Gap, PA.
After crashing into the motorcycle head-on the SUV spun and was stuck broadside by a 1999 Suzuki. The operator of the motorcycle, David Allen Russell, 67, of Mount Joy, PA and his passenger, Michelle G. Russell, 53, also of Mount Joy were also pronounced dead at the scene.
Also to die as a result of the crash was the occupant of the SUV, Majorie S. Smith, 68 of Johnstown. The name of the driver of the SUV has not been released and the cause of the crash is, as of this point, unknown.
