On Wednesday morning in Claverack, the passengers of a miniature school
bus were injured after an accident that left the bus on it's side
on Columbia County's Route 11.
The accident occurred between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. and the bus is owned by
Michael Johnston, a contractor for the Taconic Hill Central School District.
The cause of the accident is unknown. Also unknown is the number of passengers
and the extent of their injuries.
It has been reported, however, by the Register-Star newspaper of Hudson
that two of the passengers were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital and
one was taken to Albany Medical Center.
