Early Monday morning in the town of Ulster, two women were injured after
their cars collided and overturned on U.S. Route 209.
According to town police, the accident occurred just before 6 a.m. when
a northbound 2009 Toyota, driven by Josephine A. Catone, 72, of Kingston,
swerved and crashed into the rear driver's side of a 2001 Honda driven
by Laura I. Queen, 52, also of Kingston.
The collision caused both cars to overturn and injured both drivers.
Catone and Queen were taken to the HealthAlliance Hospital's Broadway
Campus in Kingston to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Tickets have not yet been issued.
